Be advised that on June 3, 2024, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker licence of Ms. Carole Viau, whose establishment is located in Laval, be suspended from July 8, 2024 to September 5, 2024, for committing the following offences:Count 1: As of or around May 17, 2021, when an air test had been completed following the discovery of cannabis cultivation in the property that was the subject of the brokerage contract to sell, failed to send the explanatory report containing recommendations to the promisor-buyers.
Count 2: Between or around May 18 and 19, 2021, while having been informed of an event related to the production of cannabis in the property that was the subject of the brokerage contract to sell, she entered on the Amendments form that there had been no such event.
