Élise, the OACIQ's AI: One year of success and almost 182,000 exchanges*
Brossard, December 10, 2024 — Élise, the conversational agent of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), is celebrating its first anniversary. Launched on December 8, 2023, Élise uses artificial intelligence to answer users' questions about real estate brokerage. Its answers are based on the Real Estate Brokerage Act and its regulations, as well as the articles published on the OACIQ website. This innovative chat tool provides quick access to information at all times, significantly improving the experience of consumers, real estate brokers and agency executive officers.
Here are the highlights of this first year:
Over 181,826 exchanges* with users: Élise recorded a remarkable number of exchanges, showing strong demand for its services and rapid adoption by users.
Varied topics: many topics were covered, showing the diversity of the queries processed and our AI’s ability to effectively answer a wide range of questions about real estate brokerage.
Most used resources: data show a high use of key resources, such as the Professional Practices Guide and the guidelines on collaboration and remuneration sharing. Élise effectively redirected users to the most relevant information, making it easier for them to understand the regulations.
“Thanks to Élise, our staff at the information centre Info OACIQ can focus on the most complex cases that require a more personalized human approach, thereby strengthening our efficiency and ability to protect the public,” says OACIQ President and CEO Nadine Lindsay.
Since the launching of Élise, the OACIQ has received several requests from organizations interested in our system and wishing to implement it as well. The organization has thus positioned itself as a pioneering regulator in the development of a unique artificial intelligence solution.
